Hapag-Lloyd Kreuzfahrten

Flexibility and diversity has linked ZWIESEL KRISTALLGLAS with Hapag-Lloyd cruises since November 2011. Suitable tableware and glasses are essential for excellent meals. In order to attain a modern and casual atmosphere, Hapag-Lloyd Cruises therefore decided to expand their offer of wine glass products through a partnership with ZWIESEL KRISTALLGLAS.

The individuality of the brands SCHOTT ZWIESEL and ZWIESEL 1872 is suitable for any occasion, no matter whether it is exclusive hand-blown glasses for a festive dinner or the Bar Special series, which impresses with its functionality and elegance. With this cooperation, ZWIESEL KRISTALLGLAS not only leaves its marks on the cruise ships, but also wherever the voyages go.

About Hapag-Lloyd Cruises

Hapag-Lloyd Cruises is an enterprise in which progress is a tradition. After all, it was Hapag Director Albert Ballin who in 1890 had the idea for the first time to send a passenger ship on an “excursion in sunnier climes” during the winter months when the transatlantic line service was dormant.

Today, the Hamburg-based company Hapag-Lloyd Cruises is regarded as one of the leading providers of cruises in the luxury and expedition sector in the German-speaking world.

The ships from Hapag-Lloyd Cruises are outstanding in their class: the two sister ships in the Hapag-Lloyd Cruises luxury segment – MS EUROPA and MS EUROPA 2 – have been distinguished with the highest rating “5-stars-plus” in the latest edition of the renowned cruise guide “Complete Guide to Cruising & Cruise Ships”. As a result, both ships are global leaders. The two luxury ships occupy the first two places among the best ten in the category “small ships” up to a maximum of 750 passengers.

The expedition ships HANSEATIC (5-stars) and BREMEN (4-stars-plus) set off on a course of worldwide discovery. The HANSEATIC has improved its rating with 1,765 points and for the first time heads the top 10 list of “boutique ships” as the only expedition ship with five stars. The BREMEN also improved its rating with a total of 1,555 points and received the “5-stars-plus” award. The airborne cruises in the luxurious private jet “Albert Ballin” are also a particularly exclusive mode of travel which supplements the portfolio.
